    Sip & Stitch: Beginners Embroidery

The one so many of you asked about. You will hoop your fabric, pick your threads, and work through four or five foundational stitches. Supplies are in the ticket, plus a coffee and a sweet treat.

    Flow & Sip

    ATMA Yoga, 14915 107 Ave NW · $49.40

Sip n’ Stitch was so much fun

A room full of you showed up with a photo that meant something and spent the afternoon turning it into thread. There was coffee, there were snacks, and there was a lot of laughing at knotted thread. Honestly nobody wanted to pack up and go home.

Community Builder & Designer

I’m a designer and creator based in Edmonton building Get Offbeat, an inclusive community made by the people for the people. We’re building more than events here, we’re building a group of creative people who show up for each other, month after month.

Have an idea for a new event?

We’re always on the lookout for new event and workshop ideas. Tell me yours below — it lands in the same place as everything else, and I read all of them.

Signing up also gets you the one email a month: photos from the last night and dates for the next ones. Nothing else.

Before You Book

The things people usually ask

I've never done this before — is that fine?

That's most of the room. Nothing here assumes you've held a needle, and there's no step you can fall behind on.

Can I come on my own?

Plenty of people do, and the table is set up so that talking happens on its own. If you would rather make things quietly, that works too.

Do I need to bring anything?

For most nights, just yourself — supplies are in the ticket. Craft & Yap is the exception: bring whatever you are already working on.

What if I have to cancel?

Send me a note before the day and I will move you to another gathering. Life happens, and the seat will find someone.
